TED Vancouver: 18 minutes
April 15, 2015BY Trademark Events
If you’ve ever watched or listed to a TED talk, you’ll know what we mean about how powerful (and addictive) they are. We went to Vancouver in March to see it live. Regardless of topic or complexity, all speakers were told their story in 18 minutes. We’ve all been to conferences where sessions last 45-60 minutes. What if each of us were forced to condense our topics to under 20? Could we do it? Do we really need those 40 slides? Or is it more effective – and memorable – to distill one or two ideas and deliver them while making a real connection with our audience? Watch one of the most talked-about sessions: Monica Lewinsky on the Price of Shame. Let us know what you think.
