User Conference, Tradeshow & Roadshow
With over 10 million active users in over 150 countries, Slack is changing how we work on a global scale.
After producing their inaugural Frontiers in 2017, Trademark joined forces with Slack again to expand and develop the user conference for their rapidly growing audience.
To represent and celebrate their diverse user base, we designed the space and experience to be inclusive and accessible for everyone, with Japanese translation, closed captioning, mother’s rooms, gender neutral restrooms, catering for all dietary restrictions, and a Slack for Good experience, as well as diverse keynote and breakout speakers. Keynote speakers Serena Williams and Dr. Mae Jemison inspired audiences with stories of how they reached new heights in their own fields.
Hands-on activations including mad-lib magnets, Molly Moon’s ice cream, Plinko, and digital case studies brought customer stories to life in Slack’s colorful main exhibit. Working with our model shop, we designed and built a bespoke birch stage set, and transformed Pier 27 and the plaza with colorful banners, signage, branding, and a custom neon, working closely with Metro Shores to comply with Fire Marshal requirements and venue restrictions for the unconventional space. We integrated the Frontiers brand into the entire event; everything from website development and registration to mainstage keynotes, breakouts, sponsorships, and the offsite party at the Exploratorium.
